Day 1: Meeting point at 6 pm at the Sporthotel in Pontresina. Dinner together and discussion of the first tour.
Day 2: From Sfazù, 1622 m, we follow the alpine road up to Alp Terzana, 1814 m. Here the route steepens and we reach the Alp Terzana. Here the route steepens and we gain height with every step in the sparse larch forest. At about 2150 m the forest thins out and we can see our destination in front of us, the Motal at 2516 m. Grandiose view into the Puschlav. Descent back along the same route to Sfazù.
900 m altitude difference, ascent time approx. 3 hours.
Day 3: Classic tour from Muottas Muragl, 2568 m, to Piz Muragl, 3157 m. After enjoying the view of the Bernina massif, we set off on the 1400 m descent back to Punt Muragl.
700 metres altitude difference, ascent time approx. 3 1/2 hours.
Day 4: Descent from the Diavolezza to the Vadret Pers and ascent in fantastic scenery to the Gemsfreiheit, 3186m. Here we are in the heart of the so-called Festival Hall of the Alps! Descent over 1300 metres in altitude via the Vadret da la Fortezza and the Vadret da Morteratsch to Morteratsch.
500 metres altitude difference, ascent time approx. 3 hours.
Day 5: The Piz Ursera, 3031 m, or the Bärenspitze, is a parade ski tour on the border between Switzerland and Italy high above the Bernina Pass. The 1400-metre descent through the Val Mera will thrill us, as will the stop at the Rifugio Saoseo in the Val da Camp.
980 metres altitude difference, ascent time approx. 3 hours.
Day 6: From the Bernina Pass we cross Lago Bianco and climb over increasingly steeper north-facing slopes in good conditions with the skis directly to the Sassal Mason west peak, 2988 m. Impressive view down into the Puschlav, to the Piz Varuna and into the Val da Camp. Direct descent with some hidden dream slopes, short counter ascent back to the Bernina Pass. End of our tour days on a sun terrace with a view.
850 metres altitude difference, ascent time approx. 3 hours.
This tour programme is only a suggestion, many other great ski tour destinations are possible. We adapt the actual programme to the weather and snow conditions, the current avalanche situation and the ability and wishes of the participants.
