Pontresina: Alpine, Natural, Authentic. The typical Engadine village Pontresina is sunny and sheltered from the wind in a side valley of the Upper Engadin. Deceleration in the fresh mountain air, the enjoyment of unique nature as well as the variety of tour options are here guarantees for an eventful stay with well-being guarantee. The highest peaks of the Eastern Alps, impressive glacier trains and an exquisite climate characterize the mountain village. Supporters of excellent cuisine, paired with fantastic ski tours and wellness for recreation come in Pontresina and the Upper Engadine especially at their expense.
Day 1: Meeting point at 9 am at the Sporthotel in Pontresina. For a stress-free start to the course, we recommend an extra night from Friday to Saturday in the Sporthotel. After changing and checking the equipment, we start our first tour in Val Bernina. From Resgia, 1827 m, we enjoy a varied ascent through the Lavin Pitschen on the Muot d'Mez, 2499 m. Great view of the Rosatsch and the Val Roseg. Delicious departure back to Resgia. 670 meters in altitude, ascent time approx. 2 1/2 hours
2nd day: Touring classics from Muottas Muragl, 2568 m, to the Piz Muragl, 3157 m. After enjoying the view of the Bernina Massif we take a 1400-meter descent back to Punt Muragl. 700 meters in altitude, ascent time approx. 3 1/2 hours
3rd day: Departure from the Diavolezza on the Vadret Pers and ascent in fantastic scenery on the Gemsfreiheit, 3186 m. Here we are in the heart of the so-called Festsaal of the Alps! Descent over 1300 meters over the Vadret da la Fortezza and the Vadret da Morteratsch after Morteratsch. 500 meters in altitude, ascent time approx. 3 hours
Day 4: From the Bernina Pass we cross the Lago Bianco and climb over steeper northern slopes in good conditions with the skis directly on the Sassal Mason West Summit, 2988 m. Impressive view into Puschlav, Piz Varuna and Val da Camp. Direct descent with some hidden dream slopes, short ascent back to the Bernina Pass. Completion of our tour days on a sun terrace with a view. 850 meters in altitude, ascent time approx. 3 hours
