Mont Blanc is and will remain a magical attraction for all enthusiastic mountaineers. The imposing granite needles and huge glaciers around the Vallée Blanche will amaze you endlessly.
The view from the summit is unique and ranges from the Valais four-thousand-metre peaks to the Engadine, with a little luck. Since its first ascent on 8 August 1786, Mont Blanc has lost none of its appeal. Every year thousands of ambitious alpinists climb its countless routes.

Price

CHF 1250.-   (per person / 2 Participants)

Includes mountain guide tariff and mountain guide expenses.
Not included are the costs for overnight stay and half board, the surcharge in the hut for non-members of an alpine club, possible rental material, all transport costs.

Masterful condition  

Very good physical condition for approx. 7 to 8 hours of ascent, experience in alpine touring, safe crampon walking, climbing experience in the 2nd/3rd degree of difficulty. Participation is only possible for very well trained and acclimatized mountaineers.

Due to the limited number of places in the huts, registration is mandatory until 19 June 2020.

Program

Mont Blanc via the Epaule du Mont Blanc du Tacul and Col du Mont Maudit, Arête des Cosmiques.

Planned tour program

Day 1: Meeting point at 14.00 at the summit of the Aiguille du Midi at the information desk (at the Passarelle between the two summits). Descent over the first airy ridge to the glacier and short ascent to Refuge des Cosmiques, 3613 m. Move into the room, check the equipment, repeat the rope handling. Dinner together and discussion of the two days of the tour.

2nd day: Breakfast at 01.00, then departure for the ascent of Mont Blanc via the so-called three Mont Blanc: Epaule du Mont Blanc du Tacul, Col du Mont Maudit, summit of Mont Blanc, with 4810 m the highest mountain of the Alps. Descent on the same route back to the refuge.
1700 m altitude difference, ascent time about 7 to 8 hours, total walking time about 10 to 12 hours

3rd day: Breakfast at 07.00, then start of the extremely rewarding climbing tour over the Arête des Cosmiques back to the Aiguille du MIdi, 3842 m. We enjoy a great view of the three Mont Blanc and our route from the previous day. Departure from the Aiguille du Midi at about 12.00 hrs.
200 m altitude difference, ascent time about 3 hours
